To move up the corporate ladder and gain more responsibility requires administrative professionals who project a corporate image on par with the executives they support. It calls for a special finesse that is not taught in school and often not learned on the job. A few people seem to have the knack innately; most of us gain it by careful observation and modeling others who are successful. The really lucky ones are given an opportunity to be taught the skills by professional coaches who can take individuals performing well in their current positions and shape them into exceptional professionals who feel comfortable adapting to any person or situation they encounter.

This 2 ½-day conference, designed especially for admins, will provide attendees with all the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to fit in with their executive teammates and the credibility and confidence they need to stand out from the crowd.

Virginia-West Virginia Annual Meeting
Hosted by the Lynchburg Chapter
June 26-28, 2009

• Trips and Tours will include historical sites around Lynchburg, beginning on Friday, June 26 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. You might want to arrive on Thursday evening so you can take part.
• On Friday afternoon join the Division for an educational seminar, followed by an evening of entertainment with the Williams Brothers and a surprise guest.
• On Saturday we will have another seminar, followed by the business session.  The business session will include the election of officers and proposed bylaw.
• Finally, on Saturday night we will conclude with a lovely banquet, the install the 2009-2010 officers and hand out awards.

Hotel:  Holiday Inn Select in lovely Downtown Lynchburg, Virginia.  We will post a website within the next few days for those wishing to make reservations.  The cost per night will be $78 for a single, $88 for a double, and $98 for triple/quad, plus all applicable taxes.
